COVER STORY
Spices for Intelligent Polymer Materials
It has been demonstrated that performance and function of base polymer materials are dramatically changed by functional additives. Their intelligent functions are realized either by interaction between the base polymer and the additives and/or the functional additives themselfes. The following feature articles introduce topics and future vision of intelligent material designs by focusing on “spices for intelligent polymer materials” that brush up the total performance and functions of the polymer systems.
