COVER STORY Polymers: A Good Partner of Living in the Cities |
Recently, the designing of attractive cities seems to become an active field despite of the overall population decrease. Excellent efforts in the field of architecture such as urban design against disaster, architectural utility systems for energy saving, and material recycle technologies for better life are going to keep life sustainable in the cities. In these efforts, many polymer materials are effectively applied to achieve the desired goals. In this volume, we introduce technologies that are “a good partner of living in the cities” and shine a light on some unfamiliar architectural technologies. We try to focus on applicability of polymer materials from the point of architectural fields. Editors: YOSHIMOTO, SHISHIDO, TANAKA, MAEDA and YUSA |
