COVER STORY
Adhesives and Polymers
Adhesives are widely used for industries such as buildings, vehicles, airplanes, trains, electronic devices, semiconductors and medicals as well as daily use. Modern civilization largely depends on adhesives. Recently, eco-friendly adhesion technology is remarkably developed, including degradable adhesives, naturally-derived adhesives, and adhesives that do not exhaust volatile organic compounds in production and construction process. In this edition, recent progress and future prospects of adhesives are overviewed.
