COVER STORY
Separation of Polymers and Separation with Polymers
One of the indispensable procedures to analyze polymeric materials is purification and/or fractionation of polymers. Furthermore, the polymeric nature of macromolecules is also utilized to separate or to analyze various chemical reagents. These methods are concerned with intermolecular interactions between polymer-polymer or polymer-small molecules. Indeed, they contribute not only to the progress of polymer synthesis and processing technologies but also various separation technologies including gases and chiral molecules. The aim of this issue is to summarize recent developments of such technologies.
