COVER STORY Polymers Connecting Humans and the Earth |
Many of the polymer products that exist in our daily lives are made from fossil resources. Recently, the impact of polymers on the global environment, such as microplastics, is being discussed worldwide. Thus, polymers have been and will continue to be closely related to the “Earth” on which we “Humans” live. This special issue focuses on the establishment of a new polymer chemistry that will enable a higher level of prosperity for humankind through a more active connection and harmony between people and the earth, and not only on environmentally friendly polymers.
