COVER STORY Progress in the Field of Commodity Polymers |
Commodity polymers are usually represented by polyolefin
polymers, but they have a wide range of variety now. They penetrated into
our lives and are indispensable for us today. In spite of the fact that
the technologies concerned with these polymers ought to be even more matured,
basic research and technical improvement have been continually progressing since these polymers were first made. In this special edition number we turn the spotlight on the forefront of new developments in commodity polymers and would like to get close to the image of what is shaping their future. (Editors: TANIGUCHI, UOTANI, SAKURAI, TSUJII, and YAMAOKA) |
