Light and Thermal Control Materials for Energy Management

Currently, Japan faces a serious energy problem, but the situation is also similar all around the world. It seems that no one can find the perfect way to sustainable energy generation and usage. In such a situation, it is expected that researchers and engineers proceed with the research and development of functional materials for energy saving and better energy management systems. In this volume, we chose ‘light’ and ‘heat’ as a controlled target among various energy saving methods and introduce the light and thermal control materials and related technologies for energy management.
