<要旨>My research is focused on effective synthetic methods for highly complicated architectures exploiting kinetically stabilized species such as enediyne, ortho-quinol, and nitrile N-oxides. This synthetic approach enabled me to achieve the practical conversion into high performance materials without catalysts, byproducts, in addition to solvents, emphasizing the advantage in a viewpoint of green chemistry.

金属錯体の特異な光物性とOLED への応用
Photo-Physics and Electroluminescence Characteristics of Organic Metal Complexes

<要旨>有機LED(OLED)の発光層に用いられる有機金属錯体の光物性およびEL特性について紹介するとともに,新しいEL発光機構の可能性について示す。スズ(IV)-ポルフィリン錯体(SnF2(OEP))は,熱活性化遅延蛍光を示し,光励起下および電流励起下において,570 nm付近に蛍光および遅延蛍光を,また,700 nm付近にリン光を示し,温度上昇とともに遅延蛍光の強度が著しく増大する特性を示す。OLEDには,未だ未開拓な発光機構の可能性がある。

<要旨>鎖状有機ポリシランは熱分解により炭化ケイ素を与えることが知られている。これに対し,ネットワーク状有機ポリシリンは熱分解条件(温度・時間)・酸素濃度の制御により,二次元Si面がSi-O-Si構造でインターカレートした階層構造に変化してフルカラー発光性を示すとともに,酸素不在下では微結晶シリコンとなることが見いだされた。

Sulfur-Containing Functional Materials for Photo-Curing Reaction

<要旨>Thiol compounds including sulfur can be used as curing accelerator of photo-curing reactions. In this study, we report that the secondarization of thiol group solves the stability problem of the composite and has many additional advantages for photo-curing processes such as stability problem of the composite double bonds and improved adhesion strength.

Development of Borazine Polymers

<要旨>Borazine polymers were synthesized by hydrosilylation, hydroboration, and dehydrogenative coupling polymerizations. The resulting borazine-siloxane polymer was used as low-k dielectric thin film. Other borazine polymers were examined as preceramics materials.

Recent Development in Ionics of Organoboron Electrolytes

<要旨>A variety of organoboron electrolytes including organoboron anion receptors or highly dissociable lithium salt structures were developed. These electrolytes generally show significantly improved lithium transference numbers in comparison with conventional polyethers or ionic liquids. Novel organoboron ion-gel electrolytes were also recently developed in order to improve the nonflammable property of electrolytes.

Reactive Polymers for Main Chain-Chemical Transformation

<要旨>Reactive polymers are important synthetic precursors for diverse functional materials. Incorporation of the reactive functions into the main chain of the polymers enables a unique macromolecular design such as the degradation of the polymer chains, the insertion of another polymer segments leading to the formation of block copolymers, the scrambling of the sequence in between the plural polymers, and the transformation of the functional groups of the main chain. Especially, reactions of organometallic polymers possessing reactive metallacycles allow us to prepare π-conjugated polymers with unique main chain structures and those with various elements. Diversity-oriented syntheses of functional π-conjugated polymers by the main chain-reactive polymers are also described.
