COVER STORY
Skin and Polymers |
Polymeric materials that cover or underpin the skin can provide soft-interfaces
with abilities like protection, healing, and regeneration of the skin.
The skin is the outer cover of the body, therefore, skin-applied polymers
should exhibit adaptation to the environment and provide multifunctionality.
This special issue features skin-applied polymers and polymer composites
in interdisciplinary fields, that function not only in daily life but also
under unusual circumstances.
