COVER STORY Exploring Polymers with Electron Microscope Technologies |
The evolution of current nanotechnology has allowed forming nano-structures in conventional ways. Advancement of SEM, TEM and X-rays structure analysis, supported the evolution of techniques to form such structures. The academic interchange joint session with the Japanese society of microscopy was held in the 62th Symposium on Macromolecules last year (2013) in the Society of Polymer Science, Japan. There were a tutorial lecture on TEM, a tutorial lecture on SEM and four lectures on advanced technologies of Electron Microscopy. This joint session attracted many people and was very successful. We want to introduce the contents of the tutorial lectures and current advanced technologies of Electron Microscopy in this issue. Guest Editor: JINNAI Editors: UOZU, IYODA, KAWAHARA, and NOZUE |
